Advanced Low Modulus Hybrid Sealant
Weather PRO is a premium-grade, low-modulus hybrid sealant engineered for window and door frames, back-bedding, weather-barrier joints, and as a general-purpose high-performance sealant for dynamic joints on most common substrates. Engineered for interior and exterior applications, Weather PRO has excellent UV resistance to endure weather cycles, rapid skin time to reduce dirt attraction, and is paintable. Meets ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Use NT, M, G, A, O. Class 35. Exterior/Interior.
Typical Uses: Suitable for application on a wide range of common building surfaces, including aluminum, glass, glazed ceramics, and wood – painted or unpainted. It can be applied to lightly moist surfaces (not saturated), making it versatile for both indoor and outdoor use.
Instructions: All surfaces must be clean, dust, and grease-free. Carefully cut the tip of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded area. Cut off top of nozzle at an angle of approximately 45°F. Screw on nozzle and place cartridge in a standard sealant gun. Apply sealant to the joint apply in a continuous bead along the aperture and leave to fully cure. Smooth the joint by tooling with a soapy solution. Remove any excess material and clean tools immediately with white spirit. Weather Pro will cure on condensed / wet surfaces, however the final adhesion bond could be affected. Use of a primer on porous substrates is recommended. Can be painted and varnished but always do a compatibility test first. Pre-stressed Acrylic and Polycarbonate (PC) could result in stress cracking of the plastics. For these substrates, we recommend preliminary tests. May discolor under extreme conditions and long exposure to UV light.
