A premium, neutral cure 100% silicone sealant that provides maximum silicone performance to seal out air and water in window, door, and siding applications. Low modulus formulation provides maximum flexibility and adhesion to withstand contraction and expansion caused by temperature and weather fluctuations without cracking, shrinking or losing adhesion. 100% waterproof, weather durable seal. It will not bleed into porous/natural stone and contains a powerful fungicide to prevent mold growth.
Uses: For most sealing applications including sanitary, ducting, high temperature, framework, siding, trim, flashing, pipes, vents, and natural & engineered stone. Excellent adhesion to metals, mirrors, natural stone, granite, travertine, marble, porcelain, painted and unpainted wood, ceramic, vinyl, plastics, drywall, composite materials, fiber cement board, fiberglass, stone, PVCu, concrete, plaster, and VSG glass. For internal and external application, Universal Silicone has a lifespan of over 20 years and a movement value of 25% (Class 25).
Instructions: Surfaces must be clean, dry and dust/grease-free. When sealing deep joints use foam backer rods to minimize wastage. Cut the tip of the cartridge without damaging the threaded area. Screw on nozzle and cut at an angle of 45° to an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply using a standard sealant gun and tool down within 10 minutes using the appropriate tool. After use, clean tools with mineral spirits before the product dries.
Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 41°F (5°C) and 77°F (25°C).
Shelf Life: Use within 12 months.
